This pretty stone and colombage house is located just over the border from the Gers in the Landes. The commune in which the house is located, Creon d’Armagnac, has approximately 300 inhabitants and boasts a 13th century church and various local activities. The village itself was devastated by the “prince Noir” in 1355 and later by captain Thoiras in 1569 and was reconstructed in 1695 by the Viscountess Paule de Bezolles
The house has been fully renovated respecting the authenticity of the property and the roof comes with a 10 year guarantee. The house has four bedrooms, one on the ground floor and three upstairs. It retains many of its original features – fireplace, bread oven, teracotta flooring and stone sink whilst being well insulated and having a new roof, electrics and septic tank. There is a ground floor shower room with toilet as well as a bathroom (with WC) upstairs.
The property also boasts a garage and workshop – which could with appropriate planning be converted for extra living space if desired. The garden covers just over 3000m˛ and has a view over the Pyrenees. The property will be ready to move into without having to lift a paintbrush (unless desired!)
